Syd: All the emails I got said there was no sign of a break-in or whatever. So my secrets are safe, right?
Rob: Well...
Syd: No?
Rob: Let us return to our analogy.

Rob: The shed guy is assuring you he reviewed all his security video footage and didn't find anything suspicious.
Syd: That's good... right?
Rob: It's technically true, but you should know that shed guy owns exactly zero security cameras.

I have no reason to believe your secrets were stolen... I checked all my cameras and, uh, motion detectors... and asked every one of my wizards.

I considered an analogy involving fingerprints and gloves, but that would introduce the possibility of a sloppy thief actually having left some evidence: Apparently not possible.
