About the comic
Greetings, comic fans... sarcasm aficionados... students "taking a break"... and bored office desk workers. Welcome and thank you for visiting I Love StupidTM.
My name is Jonathan Hironaga. I put this site together, starting back in 2007. Except for the ads; I did not make those. They're just there to help cover my Web hosting costs. And, if all goes well, eventually pay for my mortgage. And my private island and space yacht. Rather than consider how likely or unlikely these outcomes may be, let us move on.
I Love StupidTM is a comic strip. It's not about anything in particular. It's just a creative outlet that allows me to write and draw things that make me chuckle or hmmm to myself when I'm alone, much like a crazy person. I hope that others out there with similar sensibilities will enjoy my work.
The strip, while usually inspired by reality, is not meant to be autobiographical. There is no one-to-one connection between any of my characters and any real-life person. And I do not necessarily share my characters' views.
The comic strip is currently being updated weekly.
About the blog
This is where I will occasionally mention things I find particularly interesting or entertaining in the realms of art and comedy. The point is to expose my readers to something neat they might not already be aware of.
